Sunday, May 3rd 2015 | Daniel 1:8-31
The key point from this sermon is that God does not need our worship or our great service. He merely uses our smallness to be most glorified in us. The advantage that Daniel and his friends had was their smallness and insignificance compared to Babylon and Nebuchadnezzar. One good definition of worship: the willing inconvenience and even risk to oneself, to set oneself and ones own interests and baser emotions aside, for the purpose of being a small, ready vessel, when and if the Lord should chose to use the vessel.
