2 Corinthians 4:1-7

My goal today is simple and my message short and to the point! It is to present the blazing light of the gospel of eternal life from God in the person of Jesus the beloved Son. And to have the Living God reach down and push back and collapse mortality and its claims and concerns and drives and fears. Because that is the purpose of the gospel: To crush death, to collapse mortality like one smashes and kills a paper-mache tiger with a simple stick. The gospel defangs and tames the awesome beast of death and laughs at its impotence and false claims because it wields the weapon of the certain hope of life immortal in the resurrection of Jesus and of those who cling to Him.
