Judging Those Within, Witness to Those Without

Sunday, July 5th 2015  |  1 Corinthians 5:1-13

In light over recent cultural and legal changes, how should the body of Christ respond to sins within and without. 1 Corinthians 5 gives us a good idea. The most important moral task the church has is to keep itself free from the ravages of serious sins and internal harms. Then and only then can it be a convicting and helpful city on a hill for a fallen world.

This sermon also corrects the very common incorrect uses of Matthew 18:20, “For where two or three have gathered together in My name, there I am in their midst.”
