Acts 2:22-42, 17:1-14, 30-31
Let your heart pause and ponder the words of one of the songs we sing, “Christ our hope in life and death.”
The historical fact of the resurrection of the Son of God, the promised Messiah, Lord and Christ, is not only the centerpiece of Christian belief and doctrine, it is the key truth that unlocks the human heart and empties it of despair and futility. It restores our hopes and encourages us to see all things in the light of the glory of everlasting, unending life!To quote DA Carson again, “You don’t have a problem that a good resurrection can’t fix.”
As Christians, it is good to fill and encourage our hearts with thoughts of the good things that God has given and will give us in Christ Jesus.
