Ephesians 1:15-23

In our continuing exploration and growth in our understanding of the Body of Christ and our life in it in Him, the apostle Paul reveals a deposit of treasure of truth that is for us, as the members of Christ’s body. This deposit of truth contains three great spiritual facts. And these three facts, the contents of this deposit, are vital and foundational to our understanding of the purpose and function of the Body of Christ, of which we as believers are members. You and I, as members of the Body of our Savior, Jesus, have a high purpose and calling, a divine one, and having such a purpose and calling from God Himself is to be the guiding and prioritizing principle of our lives, individually and together.

Lord God, please help us, your blood-bought children, in today’s sermon and in the Sundays to come, to see, relish and manifest in our lives together your glory in these three great facts.
