Our Nursery, staffed with experienced volunteers for babies and small children, is right next to the sanctuary for easy access. The room is also equipped with a remote TV screen so parents can hear the sermon

Children remain in the sanctuary for the first portion of the service so they can sing, pray and feel part of the regular church congregation. Then, children’s church/Sunday School is provided for pre-school through elementary aged kids following the greeting time and before the sermon time.

There are Bible lessons, Scripture memorization, songs are enjoyed, and a relevant art/craft project is worked on. (Some children prefer to stay in the main service and we support that choice).

We always have two trained, safety-qualified staff present with the children in Sunday school or during any formal recreation time, for their safety and security and your assurance.*

* Your confidence in your child's safety and comfort with our staff during children's programs are a top priority with GBF leaders and staff. All staff that work with children or oversee children's ministries have taken and maintain current child safety training appropriate for churches and have passed state and FBI background checks. GBF's children's program is fully AB 506 for youth program compliant for your assurance.
